We have been staying at Los Cuatro Vientos for many years now and it's one of our favourite places in the world. Gloria has become a wonderful friend - her "joie de vivre" is infectious. "Chez Elena" is such a wonderful restaurant that we rarely venture out to eat elsewhere. The staff is great and so is the food. The view from "El Nido" is probably the best in Vallarta with views from the rocks all the way down to the Marina. Our favourite room is the corner on on the third floor. When my husband and I decided to have our wedding in Puerto Vallarta I wanted something authentic. I decided that we could stay at a four or five star hotel anywhere in America but there was only one Los Cuatro Vientos! Gloria and her staff were WONDERFUL. I wanted a stress free wedding experience and that is exactly what we had. In fact, we had so much fun at the rehearsal dinner that we forgot to rehearse. The day of the wedding was spectacular! Gloria had every detail covered to my liking and the sunset ceremony was overwhelming. Dinner was divine and the bands that Gloria arranged were exceptional. We stayed for a total of two weeks and every day was fun and relaxing. I encourage everyone to experience the authenticity of The Four Winds. Thanks a million Gloria, Cynthia Robb |

During our recent visit to Puerto Vallarta, we stayed at the Cuatro Vientos Hotel. Their hospitality and friendly employees made us feel comfortable and at home and also helped to make our vacation more enjoyable. The food at the hotel's lovely Chez Elena restaurant was exceptionally palate pleasing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a smaller, more intimate atmosphere for dining while in Puerto Vallarta. Mae Nelson |

I first fell in love with Puerto Vallarta during Easter break, 1980. I stayed at the charming, historic small hotel, Los Cuatro Vientos. I have returned every year since my initiation to the friendliness of PV. Gloria and her staff have offered superior service and helpfulness. I have made lasting friendships over the years. I love the El Nido bar and its spectacular city view. The food at Chez Elena is exceptional. I'll be back. Judith Graves |

It had been a very long, very hot day full of disppointments and bad experiences for my friend and I when we--quite literally--stumbled upon Los Quatro Vientos. Not only were we charmed and soothed by the sheer beauty of the building, our room (Nido de Amor) and the breathtaking view, but also by the kind and generous service of the people working there. We were further delighted to discover El Nido and Abelardo and the Best Margaritas on the Planet. Los Quatro Vientos turned what could have been a disasterous end to our vacation into the absolute best part of our trip--and because we came at the end of May, we didn't even get to experience the wonder of Chez Elena! Anyone who even mentions they might head to Puerto Vallarta to my friend or myself is bombarded with the insistence they stay at this beautiful spot. Thank you so much for such a lovely place! We first visited Los Quatro Vientos at the beginning of April and we had a TERRIFIC time! Los Quatro Vientos is VERY close to downtown Puerto Vallarta, the Malecon and everything that is happening is within walking distance.
